A hybrid vehicle that seats more than 4 people?

I would like to buy a hybrid vehicle, but we are a family of five (no prius for us!) and need a little more room. Are there many hybrids on the market that seat a minimum of 5 (sometimes more) and are safe/dependable? Any suggestions?

  1. The Toyota Camry hybrid – you can’t go wrong.

    Even better, hold off on a hybrid for a year or two because Toyota is introducing the minivan Sienna as a hybrid.

  2. I think Toyota has the highlander as a hybrid, and also there is the Lexus suv, hybrid.
    not sure if thats big enough.

  3. there are now some hybrid suvs on the market like mercury
