Do Hybrid Vehicle’s Batteries get their charge from the alternator?

With a hybrid vehicle, I know that they are ran off of gasoline engine and also an electric motor. The electric motor receives its power from the hybrid battery. Is this charged from the regular alternator that is on all vehicles?
