A hybrid would be fine, too, since its the good mileage that I need.

I think it will be Toyota, Honda or Nissan who produce such an economical SUV.

Does anyone here keep up with the automotive industry and know what they are planning to do for the future lines of SUVs?

If it is five more years, then I will wait. For now, I will settle with my Honda Accord LX.

My car is a 2005,  Pontiac Vibe, with a 4-cylinder engine. It gives me 34 MPG in the city and 40 MPG on the highway.

I’m planning on buying a new car in a year or thereabouts and I am looking very closely at the Honda Accord coupe 2008, and the 2009 Dodge Challenger SE. And I like both cars.

The Honda Accord gets 30 mpg on the highway while the Dodge Challenger only gets 25 mpg.

Is that five mpg difference going to be a significant difference, or are both cars pretty much the same in terms of their mileage?
